I am a Newham resident who was placed into temporary accommodation and was unable to speak English. Our Newham Money supported me by contacting an interpreter to help us complete a benefits check. Despite the language barriers and being digital excluded, they helped me to complete further benefit applications which lead to an increase of over £10,000 per year.
